What we ask of every sitter.
We take sitter quality seriously because pet parents take their pets seriously. Every sitter on WellKept Pet is someone we'd leave our own dog with.
- Be 18 or older
- Pass identity verification and background check
- Have prior pet care experience (personal or professional)
- Complete a short video onboarding
- Maintain a 4.5+ star rating over time
- Respond to messages within 24 hours
- Follow our pet safety and emergency protocols
- Be available for at least 3 days per week

Record a short video introducing yourself and showing where pets will stay. Owners can watch it before they book. Meet First sitters tend to stand out in search and book more often. You can do this after signup — and if you'd rather not record video, a quick call with our team works too.
