Built for real pet care
Other platforms are search engines with a payment button bolted on. WellKept Pet is built like the apps you actually use every day, on the side of the screen that matters: yours.
Join the waitlistEvery owner, sitter, and trainer gets a customizable board. Drag the tiles you care about, hide the ones you don't, resize them, recolor them, and save layouts as presets — one tap to switch your whole dashboard. It syncs across your phone and the web, so it's the same wherever you sign in.
Providers don't need a separate bookkeeping app. WellKept has business management built in: track income, log GPS mileage, record expenses with receipts, set your services and pricing, and pull a Schedule-C-style tax summary at year end. No spreadsheets, no exporting to three other tools.
Certified trainers run real-time group and one-on-one sessions over secure in-app video — no third-party links, no separate Zoom account. Sessions are recorded to private storage so you can revisit a lesson, and a short "Meet First" intro video lets you get a feel for a provider before you ever book.
A built-in AI guide answers questions, explains how things work, and helps you find the right sitter or trainer — on the web and in the app. It never sees your private data: it works from anonymized, aggregate context only.
A real Android app and the same experience on the web (iOS shortly after launch). Sign in with email, a passwordless code, or your existing Google or Apple account. Biometric unlock on devices that support it. The app remembers what you were doing across sessions so the next visit picks up where you left off.
Tap a booking link in your email and it opens the right screen in the app instead of bouncing through a browser.
Pick how you want to hear about each kind of update. Owners and sitters set their own preferences per event.
Owner-sitter conversations land as push notifications and on the web at the same time. No refresh button.
A single account can be pet parent, sitter, and trainer. Notifications, payment methods, and history live with the person, not the role.
Sitters and trainers set a recurring weekly grid and the app handles the rest. Owners booking a stay see exactly which hours are open, what's already taken, and where the sitter has blocked dates off. No double-booking, no email back-and-forth.
Per-service availability with capacity caps — "three boarding dogs at a time, two walking groups, one training session per slot."
Create a class once and auto-repeat it every Tuesday + Thursday for eight weeks. Each session is its own bookable spot.
Pull a vacation week off the schedule with one tap. Owners see the gap; bookings auto-stop for those days.
Trust gates have to clear before a sitter or trainer is listed publicly. The platform surfaces who's cleared what so owners get a single visual signal instead of a wall of badges.
Real Checkr screening (the same vendor as Uber and DoorDash), re-run periodically. Sitters upload their Certificate of Insurance in-app; coverage that lapses pulls them from search.
Stripe powers the money flow. Cards are charged when a sitter accepts (not before), refunded automatically on declines, and payouts land in the sitter's own Stripe Connect account.
Two-factor authentication with TOTP and recovery codes. Biometric unlock on phones that support it. Passwordless email-code sign-in. The same tools the security-conscious banks use, without the security-theatre paperwork.
Every app request carries a Firebase App Check token so only a real install of WellKept can hit the public endpoints. Bots are rejected at the perimeter.
Every meaningful action (login, booking change, refund, admin override) is recorded so disputes have a paper trail.
Per-event toggle for push, email, and SMS.
New device sign-ins are tagged + visible. Force-logout from any session in one tap.
We're opening the platform to the first owners and providers in Washington over the next few weeks. Get on the list and we'll tell you the moment the doors open.
