Delete your account & data
For WellKept Pet (WellKept Pet LLC). Questions: support@wellkept.pet.
You can delete your WellKept Pet account and associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app
- Open the WellKept Pet app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab → Personal Information.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Confirm with your password. Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2 — On the web
- Sign in at wellkept.pet/login.
- Open your profile settings.
- Use the Delete account section at the bottom and confirm with your password.
Option 3 — By email
Can't access your account? Email support@wellkept.pet from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you within 30 days after verifying your identity.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal data, including:
- Your name, email, phone number, and home address
- Your profile, bio, photos, and pet profiles
- Your saved providers, notification preferences, and device tokens
- Your stored timezone and app settings
What we keep, and for how long
Some records are retained after deletion where the law or another user's rights require it. We keep only what's necessary, and only for as long as needed:
- Financial & booking records — retained for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements (IRS), then deleted.
- Reviews and messages tied to another user's booking history — anonymized (your name removed) rather than deleted, so the other party's record stays intact.
- Safety / fraud records — if your account was flagged for a safety or policy issue, related records may be retained as long as needed to protect the platform and its users.
